王素格,博士,三级教授,博士生导师。现任中国中文信息学会理事,中国中文信息学会情感计算专委会副主任、社会媒体处理专委会常务委员、计算语言学专委会委员、信息检索专委会委员、语言与知识计算专委会委员。研究方向为自然语言处理、情感计算与机器学习。曾作为高级访问学者在新加坡资讯通信研究院进行合作研究。

王素格教授先后主持国家自然科学基金面上项目5项,国家自然科学基金重点项目子项目1项,科技部重点研发计划项目子课题1项,山西省重点研发计划项目1项,山西省科技基础平台项目1项,山西省科技攻关项目1项,山西省自然科学基金2项。参与国家863基金项目6项、国家973子课题1项。在ACL、AAAI、EMNLP、COLING、TKDE、IPM、KBS、IFS、ESWA、Neurocomputing、CSL、《软件学报》、《计算机研究与发展》等国际国内顶级学术会议和期刊发表学术论文100余篇,获发明专利7项。获得山西省科学技术进步一等奖和二等奖(排名第一)。
