梁吉业,博士,教授、博士生导师,山西大学副校长(正校级),计算智能与中文信息处理教育部重点实验室主任,教育部计算机类专业教学指导委员会委员,中国计算机学会理事,中国计算机学会大数据专家委员会委员,中国人工智能学会粗糙集与软计算专业委员会副主任委员,山西省计算机学会理事长,山西省2011协同创新基地(面向信息化的大数据分析与处理)主任,享受国务院政府特殊津贴专家,担任国际学术期刊《International Journal of Computer Science and Knowledge Engineering》与国内学术期刊《计算机研究与发展》编委。曾获山西省五一劳动奖章,入选山西省“新世纪学术技术带头人 333 人才工程”。

2001年西安交通大学信息与系统科学研究所获博士学位,2002年10月至2004年10月在中国科学院计算技术研究所做博士后。曾多次赴美国、德国、日本、瑞典、香港等国家和地区进行学术访问与合作研究。

梁吉业教授先后主持国家863计划项目2项,国家自然科学基金项目6项(其中重点项目2项),国家973计划前期研究专项1项,教育部博士点专项基金项目2项。主要研究领域为:计算智能、数据挖掘、智能决策。先后在《Artificial Intelligence》、《IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence》、《Data Mining and Knowledge Discovery》、《IEEE Transactions on Knowledge and Data Engineering 》、《Neural Networks》、《IEEE Transactions on Systems, Man and Cybernetics-Part A》、《Pattern Recognition》、《IEEE Transactions on Fuzzy Systems》、《Information Sciences》、《中国科学》、《计算机学报》等国际国内重要学术刊物上发表论文170余篇,其中SCI收录70余篇;在科学出版社出版著作2部;获发明专利8项。主持完成的“基于计算智能的数据挖掘理论与方法研究”获 2006 年度山西省科学技术奖(自然科学类)一等奖,主持研发的“智能电子板书写系统”于 2004 年获第五届中国国际发明展览会金奖,第六届中国国际高新技术成果交易会优秀产品奖。
